On the occasion of Maison&Objet 2026, Zanotta announces its participation by opening the doors of its Boulevard Saint-Germain showroom in Paris. The space becomes a place of dialogue between past and present, where new collections are presented alongside the brand’s historic icons, reflecting the ongoing design research that has long defined Zanotta on the international design scene.
The special highlight of the event is Mezzadro, the iconic stool designed in 1957 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Symbol of a radical and ironic approach to design, Mezzadro originated from the reuse of a tractor seat mounted on a minimal structure, embodying the power of design to transform a functional object into a timeless icon.
To celebrate 40 years of collaboration between Zanotta and Silvera, a special blue edition of Mezzadro will be unveiled. Numbered and produced in a limited series of just 10 pieces, it will be available exclusively at the Paris showroom. A tribute to a long-standing partnership and to one of the most emblematic pieces in the Zanotta collection.
The programme concludes with an invitation-only cocktail on 15 January from 6.30 pm at the Boulevard Saint-Germain showroom, celebrating both this important anniversary and Zanotta’s participation in Maison&Objet.
