Starting with the drawing of a round table with a central leg, the designers developed the concept of modularity to put together a collection that includes two tables with a round table top - 135 and 160 cm in diameter - and two oval tables with a 230 and a 260 cm table top. The focus of the design lies in the structural base, which is conceived as a module to be used individually or in multiple compositions with two asymmetrical legs: a cylinder, taken from a small portion of the perimeter, is used to create a leg with an understated yet striking shape, with recognisable styling yet functional to the development of an entire collection. Indeed, the leg can be used alone, where the table top dimensions allow it, or together with another to add greater stability to the table top.
La seconda base è creata combinando due o più moduli tra loro in modo da ottenere un bilanciamento visivo asimmetrico. Completano il progetto le scelte cromatiche, con tinte contemporanee come talco, caramello e verde alga e le finiture: il piano in MDF è sempre opaco, mentre la base in poliuretano rigido, oltre al laccato opaco, è disponibile anche in laccato lucido della stessa tonalità del piano, così da creare un contrasto e permettere alla luce di giocare con le superfici, restituendo ombre e riflessi. Il tavolo risulta così diverso a seconda del punto di osservazione e dall’interazione con la luce.
