Zanotta at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art in London for the exhibition dedicated to Alessandro Mendini from 16 January to 10 May, 2026.

Zanotta is delighted to take part in the exhibition dedicated to Alessandro Mendini at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, the only museum in the UK entirely devoted to modern Italian art. From 16 January to 10 May 2026, the museum will present the first London exhibition devoted to the celebrated designer, exploring the many facets of his creative work.
For the occasion, Zanotta will contribute three Dealbata vases (1986), reissued in 2024 thanks to the collaboration between the company and Mendini’s heirs, and now part of the Zanotta collection. Characterised by richly decorated surfaces and a strong symbolic component, the vases embody the designer’s visionary poetics and his ability to merge art with function.
Alongside the vases, the Zabro table-chair (1984) will also be on display as part of Zanotta Edizioni, the brand’s collection dedicated to the most experimental projects where art, design and formal research converge. Zabro is a hybrid and transformable object, emblematic of Mendini’s ironic and conceptual approach to design.
The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore Alessandro Mendini’s work, while Zanotta’s participation highlights the brand’s close relationship with the Italian design master and their shared commitment to turning design into a universal language of creativity and experimentation.
