Monica Armani

Monica Armani, an architect and designer, was born in Trento and has developed her own design language by weaving together memory and innovation. As the daughter of Marcello Armani, one of the leading figures of Italian Rationalism since the 1960s, she has inherited his disciplined approach to the creative process, which seeks a balance between beauty and function.Today, Monica continues this exploration, reinterpreting archetypes to design the future.Together with Luca Dallabetta, they have developed a design method that combines rationality and intuition, experimentation and rigour, transforming every idea into a unique project where nothing is left to chance. They have termed this approach “Design in Molecules”: an alchemy of elements that combines magic and logic. The success of each of their designs stems from the disciplined and conscious application of this formula. Her internationally acclaimed projects have become bestsellers and a benchmark for design enthusiasts.
She has been working with Zanotta since 2026.
